Whole Foods CEO pushes back on Amazon changes

Whole Foods CEO and co-founder John Mackey is excited by the chain’s sales improvement under Amazon.com. He has been less pleased with Amazon executives who have wanted to make changes that he believes are incompatible with Whole Foods’ mission. Business Insider obtained a recording of an internal meeting at Whole Foods in which Mr. Mackey expanded on his dealings with the chain’s parent company.
