Wal-Mart To Pay For Clean Water Violation
Houston Chronicle 05/13/2004Wal-Mart has agreed to pay a $3.1 million fine to settle a lawsuit brought against the company for violation of the Clean Water Act for excessive storm water runoff coming from its various construction sites. The company has also pledge to change procedures to comply with environmental regulations in all its other construction projects.
