UPS drivers may strike ahead of holidays

Roughly 11,600 UPS Freight workers could go on strike as early as next Monday. The workers, members of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters union who rejected a proposed labor deal last month, are set to vote on a new deal on Sunday. UPS has announced it has taken steps to minimize any disruption in the case of a job action by its employees.

Waffle House workers in Conyers, Georgia, are now on their third day of striking over what they call the company’s unfair policies.
