Third-parties pay big bucks to go to the top of Amazon’s search results

So-called black hat companies, which sometimes bribe Amazon.com employees, are charging sellers on the e-tailer’s marketplace up to $10,000 a month to put themselves near or at the top of product search results on the site. Amazon maintains that “bad actors make up a fraction of activity” on the site.
