The Children’s Place to shutter old stores and open new ones

The Children’s Place announced that it will close between 40 and 45 stores this year as part of a multiyear plan to close 300 stores by 2020. The children’s clothing chain also announced that it would open 25 new locations over the next two years in areas where it currently doesn’t have any stores.
