Shipping declines raise concerns about economic growth

Year-over-year shipments of goods via air, freight and rail dropped 5.3 percent in June, according to the Cass Freight Index. Shipments in May were down six percent, raising concerns that the reduction may foreshadow a slow down in economic activity.
