Rite Aid to Pay Fine for Selling Expired Goods

Rite Aid has agreed to pay $475,000 to the state of New Jersey for selling expired goods in its stores. The drugstore chain is subject to an additional $175,000 in penalties if it does not comply with the settlement’s terms over the next year.
