RFID Won’t Work Without Synced Data
http://www.fmi.org/media/mediatext.cfm?id=611 02/19/2004A new plan commissioned by Grocery Manufacturers of America (GMA), the Food Marketing Institute (FMI), and the National Association of Chain Drug stores (NACDS) and developed by consulting firms A.T. Kearney and Kurt Salmon Associates (KSA) says radio frequency identification (RFID) will need common data standards, a single item registry and party/item synchronization if the full benefits of the technology are to be realized.
