Nordstrom takes hit over credit card overcharges

Nordstrom profits and stock price took a hit after the retailer acknowledged that it had overcharged its credit card customers going back to 2010. Refunds being paid to affected customers cut the chain’s earnings by $72 million in the third quarter.
