Sears’ decision to close Lands’ End shops inside the department store’s locations has investors optimistic about the apparel brand’s prospects. Shares in Lands’ End jumped as much as 27 percent in trading yesterday on the news that the number of shops inside Sears would drop from 159 at the end of the first quarter to 100 by year’s end.
