Independent toy retailers in the Denver area aren’t expecting any great jump in sales with the end of Toys “R” Us. The stores have found the key to success is not attempting to compete with the big guys, like Amazon.com, but by offering unique products and scheduling events such as game nights to create relationships with customers.
