Grocers get poor grades for reducing food waste
April 18, 2018
A new report from The Center for Biological Diversity says the top 10 largest grocery chains in the U.S. are, for the most part, doing a poor job at reducing food waste. Aldi received a failing grade for its efforts while Costco, Publix, Target, Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods got Ds. Ahold Delhaize, Albertsons, and Kroger received a C while Walmart was ranked at the top with a B.
