Gap shares fall on comp and earnings miss

Shares of Gap Inc. fell more than eight percent in after-hours trading after the company posted an increase of same-store sales of one percent, lower than the 1.7 percent analysts were looking for. The company’s earnings came in at 42 cents a share, also below the 46 cents expected by Wall Street.
