7-Eleven has announced it is rolling out a new Diet Pepsi Slurpee today. The
0-calorie beverage is a first of its kind at 7-Eleven with a target consumer
audience of women, dieters and other health-conscious individuals.

John Ryckevic , Slurpee category manager, 7-Eleven called the Diet Pepsi Slurpee
a “guilt-free indulgence.”

“We have flavors that appeal to kids, to teens, to fitness enthusiasts, dieters
and diabetics, men, women,” he said. “From super sour to sugar- free to SoBe
Energy, we’ve got a Slurpee flavor for everyone.”

Diet Pepsi Slurpees will be available in participating 7-Elevens starting today.

Moderator’s Comment: What are your thoughts on 7-Eleven
introducing a Diet Pepsi Slurpee?

An oxymoron if there ever was one, diet Slurpees will
probably do quite well. The product will provide another reason for consumers
who do not fit the convenience store stereotype to shop in 7-Eleven.
