Wendy’s Buys 69 Wendy’s in Florida

Wendy’s is looking to accelerate its expansion plans in Florida by purchasing 69 restaurants from franchisees, according to an Orlando Sentinel report.

Jack Schuessler, chairman, Wendy’s International, said in a written statement. “Going forward, we plan to build on our strong foundation in Central Florida and expand the number of Wendy’s restaurants in these important markets. We are reinvesting in our core business with this transaction.”
