Supervalu Named Retailer of the Year

Grocery Headquarters has named Supervalu Retail Company of the Year in its May issue.
Jeff Noddle, chairman, president and CEO of the wholesaler/retailer told the trade publication, “We think that the diversity of the company is often an asset. We have a lot of options as we look at markets and opportunities. We can be a retailer. We can just be in the distribution business, or we can be a combination of those. That gives us a lot of diversity and makes us attractive in all economic conditions and environments.”
