By George Anderson

The Pick ‘n Save locations and bakery are reported to produce $200 million in annual revenue while employing 1,500. Roundy’s annual revenues are $2.7 billion according to the paper. The Wisconsin retailer and wholesaler will have 65 supermarkets when the Prescott’s deal closes.

Moderator’s Comment: Where does Roundy’s go from here?

The company is already the largest grocer in Wisconsin
and its management gets top marks from industry experts. Illinois is right next
door. Could Dominick’s be the next acquisition for Roundy’s?
