Pizza Hut Cuts the Fat
By George Anderson
Pizza Hut is hoping that consumers counting fat calories will add up to greater revenues for the chain.
The company has rolled out its “Fit ‘N Delicious” pizza, boasting one-fourth less fat than its regular pizza. It expects to have “Fit ‘N Delicious” in most of its U.S. locations
by the end of this month, reports the Associated Press.
Peter Hearl, Pizza Hut’s president said, “Moms are looking to provide for themselves or their family less-fat food options. They’re not prepared to give up on taste, but if they
can get great taste and lose fat grams, that’s a winning combination.”
