Pepsi Organizes Holdings under One Umbrella

PepsiCo has combined Pepsi-Cola North America with the Gatorade, Tropicana and Quaker Oats businesses under one umbrella, the Pepsi Beverages and Food North American division, reports CBS.MarketWatch.com. Pepsi beverages include water, juice, coffee, tea and alternative drinks under brands that also include Aquafina, Dole, Starbucks, Lipton and SoBe.

Former President of Pepsi-Cola North America Gary Rodkin was named president and chief executive of the new division. Mr. Rodkin will report to Robert Morrison, vice chairman of PepsiCo and chief executive of Quaker. Mr. Morrison, who joined PepsiCo when it acquired Quaker last year, will stay with PepsiCo until February.
