New Products Make Splash at Seafood Show

A panel of top industry buyers screened products based on uniqueness and appropriateness to the market to present nine winners at the New Product Conference of the 20th annual International Boston Seafood Show (IBSS). Thousands of seafood buyers were in attendance to find what is new in value-added products, new species, packaging and services. First place was awarded to MacKnight Smoked Food’s Cold Smoked Sea Bass, followed by second place winner Top Ocean, for its Antarctic Krill Meat. Third place was given to Slade Gorton for its newly released Salmon in Bourbon Marinade.
