Merrill Raises Winn-Dixie Mid-Term Rating
Merrill Lynch raised the mid-term stock rating on grocery store chain Winn-Dixie Stores Inc. to “neutral” from “reduce,” noting that the business had stabilized and downside appears limited, although it still has a hill to climb in productivity, reports Reuters.
Analyst Mark Husson cites several reasons for the upgrade, including a likely improvement in comparable-store sales, and an incentive program in the company’s Florida region.
