Grand Opening for Sears

Sears opened the first of its Grand concept stores in West Jordan, Utah over the weekend, reports the Salt Lake Tribune. The new format is the first Sears to offer food
items and checkouts at the front end.
The store will also include traditional Sears departments such as clothing, tools, etc. in the 210,000 square foot single-story building.
The chain has plans to open four more Grand stores by 2005.
