Dollar Stores For the Rich and Famous

Your Dollar Store With More is taking the road least traveled in the dollar store channel. The Canadian based franchiser seeks store locations and sells products of value to a more upscale customer base than other competitors in the format, says the New Mexico Business Weekly.
Stan Taylor, vice president of operations, Your Dollar Store With More, said that more affluent consumers “like the fact that we carry the kind of party items found in the [niche style] party stores as well as reasonably priced gifts.”
Your Dollar Store With More is a newcomer to the US retailing scene. The company
plans to have 100 stores operating in the US by the end of next year. It currently
runs or franchises 150 stores in Canada.
