Cookie-Making for the Baking Challenged
By George Anderson
For consumers secure enough in their own culinary ignorance to admit it, there is now Homemade Cookies for Dummies. The latest rollout of the “for Dummies” brand is exclusively licensed by Aunt Beths Cookie Keepers of San Juan Capistrano, California.
The Kosher-Dairy Kosher certified product line includes Chocolate Chip Cookie
Mix (with Nestle Chocolate Chips) in a 14.5oz. bag and ceramic cookie jars.
Future products will include Homemade Brownies for Dummies and other
cookie mixes.
The Homemade Cookies for Dummies Cookie Mix comes in the 14.5 oz. Bags is available in a 48-unit display shipper. The ceramic jars come in four sizes and are available in display shippers.
Moderator’s Comment: Is Homemade Cookies for Dummies
a specialty retail outlet product only? Should mainline grocery stores also
sell the line?
The “Dummies” franchise is a retailing marvel. Homemade
Cookies for Dummies should be no exception. Stock it and skip the slotting
allowances. [George
