Burger King’s Veggie Burger Goes Untried
The SupermarketGuru.com Consumer Panel quick poll on Burger King’s new “Veggie Burger” found that not many people have tried the new menu item yet. Clearly Burger King has not done a great job in getting people to try their new burger. Sampling could bring mega-traffic in the doors. Indications are that the product will bring new customers into Burger King; in particular the Baby Boomers and older Generation-Xers who have deserted fast food in recent years.
Moderator Comment: Will having veggie burgers on the
menu bring in new consumers and increase repeat visits from existing customers
for Burger King?
The Supermarket Guru poll indicates that, at least with
visitors to this site, veggie burgers offer BK an opportunity to capture new
consumers and better serve existing customers. [George
