By George Anderson
Jason Hart, a spokesman for Aldi, told The Leaf-Chronicle (Clarksville, TN), “We are currently accelerating our expansion plans in Tennessee, and Clarksville is definitely an ideal market for two or more of our stores.”
Aldi is reportedly opening a new store in Clarksville on a location previously occupied by a Winn-Dixie. The chain currently operates approximately 580 limited-assortment food stores in the US.
