Ed Stack, chairman and CEO of Dick’s Sporting Goods, said the decision by the company to ban the sale of assault-style rifles in the chain’s stores after the mass murder of high school students and teachers in Parkland, FL was about doing the right thing. “I basically said, I don’t really care what the financial implication is,” he told The Wall Street Journal.
