Consumer Confidence Takes Largest Jump Since November

The Conference Board’s index of consumer confidence in the economy brightened to 92.9 in April, rising from 88.5 the previous month, as employment prospects seemed to improve. The reading beat analysts’ estimates and was the biggest one-month jump since November of last year.
