Businesses build goodwill with get out the vote campaigns

A recent Morning Consult survey showed that Americans look more favorably on companies that encourage customers and employees to vote. “There’s very little downside,” said Shana Gadarian, a political science professor at Syracuse University. “Just the get-out-the-vote message itself, that’s a winner of a message, and it makes them look like they’re socially responsible.”
