Avenue is closing all its stores

Avenue, a retailer of plus-size women’s clothing, will close its 222 stores in 33 states. The retailer is part of a wave of retailers that are closing stores at an accelerated rate. To date, there have been 29 percent more store closings this year than in all of 2018, according to Coresight Research.
