Apple to spend $2.5B to deal with California’s housing crisis

Apple is pledging to spend up to $2.5 billion to help relieve the housing crisis in its home state. The company plans to use $1 billion to fund a mortgage assistance fund for first-time homebuyers and another $1 billion to open a line of credit to build “very low- to moderate-income housing.”
