On Jan. 2, Apple will repeat its fukubukuro (“lucky bag”) promotion that was successful in Japan in 2014 when the retailer sent out heavily discounted $345 packages including such grab bag items as iPod nanos, MacBook Air laptops and the Beats by Dre Pill Bluetooth speakers.
