American Eagle Wins Trademark Case Against Payless

The U.S. District Court in New York has ruled that Payless ShoeSource infringed on American Eagle Outfitter’s trademark with shoes and accessories using logos similar to AE’s. As part of the settlement, Payless will have to state that “American Eagle by Payless is not affiliated with American Eagle Outfitters.”
