Allbirds will get more physical in 2020

Allbirds co-founder and co-CEO Tim Brown told CNBC yesterday that the digital native shoe retailer will add 20 stores to its “nearly 15 stores” next year. As many traditional chains scale back their physical presence and shift more of their development dollars online, vacant retail space is being snatched up by the likes of Allbirds, Warby Parker, Casper and Everlane that are coming at brick and mortar from a fresh perspective.
