Mobile's Critical Role in the Store of the Future
Many leading retailers are focusing on the role their customers' smartphones and tablets play as touch points for their brands, recognizing that interaction frequently begins outside the four walls of the traditional store. At the same time, facing the replacement of over 10 million traditional POS devices currently deployed around the world, merchants are considering "going mobile" inside the store to offer a consistent customer experience across their channels. A single mobile toolkit for the store of the future may include POS, task management/execution, analytical alerts, and assisted selling functionality. The goal: improving business efficiency while enhancing the shopper experience and mitigating "showrooming."
Join us to learn more about how MicroStrategy and its partner, AT&T, are working together to deliver a single mobile toolkit solution that will lower store infrastructure costs, improve productivity and enable the store's role in omni-channel retailing.
