Walgreens nearing deal to acquire Rite Aid stores

Walgreens is reported to be nearing a deal with the Federal Trade Commission on the roughly 2,000 stores it will acquire from Rite Aid. Walgreens has been seeking FTC approval for various plans to acquire Rite Aid stores going back to 2015.
