Sales of legal marijuana are expected to grow at an annual rate of 27 percent through 2021, according to a forecast by the Arcview Market Research. Jeff Sessions, the U.S. attorney general and an outspoken critic of legal marijuana, isn’t expected to crack down on the industry because of the consequences it could have on President Trump’s reelection prospects along with those of other members of the GOP.
