Shares of Snyder’s-Lance Inc. rose more than 13 percent in trading on news the snack maker had been approached by Campbell Soup Co. about a possible purchase. The consumer brand manufacturer, which reportedly has another company interested, has hired an investment bank to advise it on a potential sale.
