Shinola, the Detroit-based maker of bicycles, leather goods, watches and other products, has supplemented its growth by sourcing materials and services from other U.S.-based businesses. The company, which will soon have three stores operating in Chicagoland, is also looking to set up a manufacturing plant in the area.
