Sam’s Club cutting 700 back-office positions

Sam’s Club is getting rid of 700 back-office accounting and invoicing positions at its clubs, similar to the move made by Walmart, as it seeks to cut costs and improve efficiency. Sam’s said many of the affected employees would have the opportunity to move into other positions at its clubs.
