A growing list of retailers, including Jewel-Osco, are offering Narcan, an opiod overdose antidote, for sale over the counter. Walmart pharmacies have begun offering DisposeRX for free, a product that turns leftover medications, including painkillers, into a biodegradable gel when mixed with warm water.
