Ray has a particular interest and expertise in research focused on shopper insights and solutions for in-store marketing. He has had extensive experience facilitating manufacturer/retailer partnerships, conducting shopper research, and directing industry thought leadership efforts. His work has included consulting assignments with many major U.S. and global manufacturers such as Mars, Wrigley, Time-Warner, Bayer, Kraft, and Sara Lee. He has also worked with many of the leading retailers.
Ray's background includes positions in market research, new products, and brand marketing with Unilever, Quaker Oats, Nestle and Alberto-Culver. He holds a Masters in Management from Purdue University and has done Doctoral studies in Marketing and Management Science. He has served on the faculty at the University of Illinois and at DePaul University in Chicago.
Recognized for his expertise, Ray has published articles in professional journals and conducted seminars and workshops for many corporations and professional organizations. He has been a featured speaker at numerous industry events and conferences.
