Ben is a business development lead on the Commerce team at Google. In this role, Ben is building key strategic partnerships to help bring Google magic to brick and mortar retailers.
Ben was the co-Founder and VP of Marketing of Incentive Targeting, a company that provides a cutting-edge collaboration and targeted marketing platform for the retail industry. Incentive Targeting brings together its network of supermarket chains and grocery manufacturers around the shared goals of driving sales and increasing profitability. Its breakthrough technology allows marketers to gain deep insights into shopper purchase behavior, and to put those insights into immediate action through targeted promotional campaigns. Incentive Targeting was acquired by Google in November 2012.
Prior to founding Incentive Targeting, Ben served in a variety of management and business roles in the software and financial services industries. Most recently, he was a founding employee and the Director of Product Management at HealthEdge, where he drove the development of the company's award-winning health care claims processing software. Prior to joining HealthEdge, Ben held multiple roles at deNovis, the company from which HealthEdge acquired its IP. Before joining deNovis, Ben worked at Salomon Smith Barney in the Derivatives Capital Markets group as a strategic risk advisor to Fortune 500 clients.
