NLRB tries to settle McD’s joint employer suit

March 19, 2018

A joint employer is defined as a parent company that controls the working conditions of employees working for franchises. If McDonald’s is found to be a joint employer, it would become legally liable for labor law violations from the companies that franchise its restaurants.
