Nike looks to sell off ‘excess inventory’

Lindsay Drucker Mann, an analyst at Goldman Sachs, wrote that it “will take some time” for Nike to reduce “excess inventory” that has built up at the brand’s stores as well as that held by its retail partners. Ms. Drucker Mann expects marked down product to be “funneled online via amazon.com and other platforms.”
