Nestle buys stake in meal delivery service

Nestle has acquired a minority stake in Freshly as the lead investor in a $77 million round of funding for the meal kit delivery service headquartered in New York. Nestle did not provide details on the size of the investment, but said it would go to help Freshly build a new kitchen and distribution center on the East Coast in 2018.
