Macy’s will not reveal stores to be shuttered until January

When Macy’s recently announced that it will close 100 stores, many assumed they would list the locations soon so the company could plan close-out sales to coincide with the holiday season. Yesterday, however, a Macy’s spokesperson said that a list of the majority of stores to close would not be released until January, with some news coming even later.
