Macy’s to hire 80K workers for the holidays

Macy’s plans to hire 80,000 workers, a decrease from 83,000 last year, to help it through the Christmas holiday season. While the department store retailer plans to increase the number of people to handle online order fulfillment by 20 percent compared to 2016, overall hiring will be down due to the closure of 70 stores in the past year.
