Investor wants Sears to go private

Memento SA, a shareholder in Sears Holdings, has urged the company to consider taking itself private in the face of “excessive” short selling of the retailer’s stock. News of Memento’s recommendation sent shares in the struggling company up as much as 5.1 percent in trading.
