Internal documents: Amazon could open 2,000 grocery stores

According to internal documents revealed to Business Insider, Amazon management is planning to open 20 physical grocery stores by the end of 2018, half of which will be click-and-collect locations and 10 with traditional shopping layouts. The documents also reveal that Amazon sees the potential for the market to handle up to 2,000 of its grocery outlets in the U.S. within the next decade.
